How to make a payment
The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science facilities that perform toxicity testing on oil spill treatment products on our behalf are now closed for refurbishment. It is anticipated that work will be completed in April. We will not be able to arrange toxicity testing for oil spill treatment product approvals until April. Please contact the Marine Pollution Response Team on 0191 376 2666 or 0191 376 2511 for further details.
Payments must be made at the time an application is submitted.
As part of the application process the applicant will need to determine the level of fee appropriate to their activity, using the fees information.
A refund of all or part of the total charge may be made in the event that an application is withdrawn before it has been fully processed, depending upon the amount of work already undertaken.
Payment may be made by cheque, made out for the full amount to us.
