Apply for funding
There are three European funding areas that you can apply for.
European Fisheries Fund
Around £38 million is available through the European Fisheries Fund to help the fishing industry in England to adapt to changing needs.
Money is available for fishermen, processing and aquaculture businesses, towards marketing fish products and for projects which will benefit groups of people who work in the fishing industry, such as harbour improvements. More information
EU Aid
This programme allows bodies that enforce the Common Fisheries Policy to apply for co-funding from the EU for expected expenditure related to their enforcement work. More information
Fisheries Challenge Fund
This fund is to assist fisherman and other interested parties develop ideas to improve fisheries management. More information
